There are some exciting things going on at RPT! We are pleased to welcome three new physical therapists to our team. We’re confident that as you work with them, you’ll be able to see real results and progress throughout your physical therapy journey. Get to know the newest additions to our team here!

Matt Hobbs, DPT
Matt Hobbs graduated from Touro University, Nevada in 2018 with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. After graduation, he returned to Utah with his wife and beautiful baby girl to continue his love for physical therapy in his home state. He has experience with orthopedics, inpatient acute care, wound care and pediatric physical therapy. He has a real passion for all orthopedics and is very excited to be part of the RPT family.

Jordan Shaw, DPT
Jordan graduated from the U of U’s Physical Therapy program in May of 2017. She worked for a short time at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in both acute and inpatient neurologic rehabilitation settings before joining RPT’s inpatient team at Lone Peak Hospital. Jordan is very passionate about acute care and loves the PT profession. Jordan’s hobbies are scuba diving, canyoneering, reading sci-fi and fantasy books, and camping and hiking with her husband.

Davis Timpson, DPT
Davis started working with RPT back in 2009, as an Aide at the Sandy clinic. He worked
at this location as both an aide and exercise specialist while pursuing his undergraduate degree in Exercise and Sport Science at The U of U. He graduated from the U of U’s DPT program this May and immediately started working for RPT as a Physical Therapist in Cottonwood Heights. Spending time with his family, cycling and golf are some of his favorite things to do in his spare time.

We’re thrilled to welcome these three to RPT. We ensure that all of our physical therapists meet the highest standards of excellence and are passionate about what they do. We’re ready to meet your needs and help you get back to living your best life!
