Jen Yarin, DPT

Cottonwood Heights Office

Jen graduated from Boston University with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Prior to her graduate studies, she received her Honors Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Strength & Conditioning from The University of Delaware.

Originally from the greater Boston area, Jen has been a lifelong athlete, developing passions for various athletic pursuits including gymnastics, soccer, and rock climbing from a very young age. As an avid rock climber, she has a special interest in orthopedics and climbing-related physical therapy. She loves to connect her knowledge of climbing movement and training to better understand the intricacies of other hobbies or sports.

Outside of the clinic, you can find Jen climbing in various outdoor locations, skiing, or trying new food, especially desserts. She also spends her free time volunteering as a mentor in a rock climbing special interest group to provide physical therapy students with guidance on the management of rock climbing injuries.

Jen strives to connect with each of her patients and their communities, understand what will make their specific plan of care a positive experience, and cater treatment to restoring the unique activities that bring individual’s joy. She looks forward to partnering with you!
