Biography

A native of the state of Utah, Bruce earned a degree in physical therapy and graduated from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 1995. After graduation Bruce returned to Utah to begin his career as a physical therapist.

Following two years at Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful, Bruce was excited to join RPT in their Sandy office. In 1998 Bruce was named the director of the newly-opened RPT Riverton Clinic. He provided medical coverage for the teams at both Hunter and Riverton high schools. In 2005, Bruce became board certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS).

After ten years with RPT, Bruce accepted a position as clinic director at the Intermountain West Jordan Physical Therapy Clinic. As a clinician at Intermountain, Bruce received additional training in the treatment of acute spinal conditions as well as the management of chronic pain using techniques associated with motivational interviewing and psychologically informed physical therapy (PIPT).

In 2019, Bruce was excited to return to private practice as clinic director in the RPT Riverton clinic.

When he is not working, Bruce enjoys spending time with his wife and 6 children and participating in many of the outdoor and sporting activities that are available here in Utah. He especially enjoys long distance running and is looking forward to completing his 30th marathon.
